Let Me Introduce Myself

I am Yolande Steyn, and my profession is being a Musician and Music Teacher.

With over 21+ years of experience in Music Education, Performance, and Band/Event Management, I specialise in teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Holding Grade 8 in Drum Kit, I am passionate about guiding students to master and develop their own unique musical style.

My Main Instrument is the Drum Kit, and I have been playing since the age of 15.

I focus on fostering creativity and individual expression in my students, tailoring my lessons to suit their individual needs and personal strengths. I also teach group workshops, ensuring every student feels supported and empowered.

In addition to my Music Career, I hold an Honors Degree in Psychology, which allows me to connect with students on both a technical and personal level, providing well-rounded support in their musical growth.
